On the upside at least it seems like an oldskool heist rather than Russians.

Between the ages of 48 and 78

Makes me feel good that. Us old 'uns can show the youngsters a thing or two.

Re: the hatton garden job
The fact 2 of them are in their 70's is excellent. A couple of proper old school east end gangsters looking for one last hurrah.

The inevitable film about this will be a really good watch.

You know they will get 80 years each, whilst a Peado, murderer will get a lot fucking less, love the old bill

Re: the hatton garden job
Gotta love the "quotes" from the victims. Just after the discovery of the job it was all "we're ruined, they've stolen our stones/heirlooms & some of us weren't insured". Now they've found some of the loot it's all "it's a disaster. This will hold up the insurance claims". Talk about wanting to have their cake & eat it.

"Mature" gentlemen or not, I'm surprised they didn't leave the country. All arrests made in the South of England, apparently.

Unless they were on their way to France and didn't quite make it?

Re: the hatton garden job
Patently a load of snide other side of the law stashes have been lifted by someone in the know, masqueraded as legit after the event

That was always the benefit of knocking off security boxes, just like the Harrods job way back

What have the old bill got to do with how long the courts decide to sentence someone too?

Re: the hatton garden job
Very difficult to come to a total stolen as 75% of what was nicked is probably stolen or undeclared.
There will be a lot of owners looking at their own gear and keeping stumm.

Re: the hatton garden job
Can't understand why the bill spent so much trying to find them whilst there are ragheads running around threatening this, that and have done stuff like drummer rugby.. Fffs they haven't hurt anyone have they?? One was reported to be 76.. Must phone my dad, see if he's in.. Lol

What's not callous about stealing people's personal possessions, much of it valued in the tens of thousands?
